    ELA Standards are something that is talked about a lot amongst educators, but what exactly is it? The Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects or ELA Technology Standards are a set of standards set up to prepare children how to use technology in their everyday lives inside and outside of the classroom. For example, the standards for second-grade students show that students should be learning how to "use glossaries and beginning dictionaries, both print and digital, to determine or clarify the meaning of words and phrases". Based on my skill set as of now, I feel as though I would be able to implement this standard because I feel as though I have a really good understanding of how to use both digital and printed glossaries and dictionaries and could explain how to use them, in an informational yet beneficial way for second-grade students to understand.

    Since dance has always been an important part of my life, I took attention to the resources that included dance. While searching, I found a resource entitled "Movement Alphabet". This is a lesson that teaches younger students the alphabet while also teaching them to make connections between the movements and the shape of the different letters within the alphabet. I would use this resource within my classroom because it is a very engaging activity for younger students, but it also incorporates important aspects of my life and also the standards that are put in place by the Florida government.

    When wanting to be a teacher I do believe that it is not only beneficial but also important for many reasons that you are proficient in internet searching. I say this because you are not only using aspects of internet searching to find information that you are planning on teaching students, but you also have to teach students how to internet search themselves. One of the new skills that were introduced to me this week that I intend on using more is the advanced search because it makes it easier to find certain information while still being able to leave out some details that you might not know at the time of searching.
